It's mid November and a rose had tried to bloom, just before this morning's frost....

The moon is full and hazy and sits low as it marries it's partner the sun fading in the West - the blackbird knows it will be dark soon....

The leaves are crispy at the top of the layer, but mushy below as I gather them - lovely for next year's mulch....

The rhythm of the seasons stabilises our existences - it just happens, it's there, waiting to be found....
